SUNNYVALE, CA, June 14, 2004 - Liquid Engines, a cash flow and
tax management software company, today announced the appointment
of Robert (Bob) Perlman, former vice president of Tax, Licensing
and Customs at Intel Corporation, to the Liquid Engines Advisory
Board. Perlman is a recognized leader in the tax profession and
brings to the board more than 25 years of industry experience.
He joins, on the advisory board, preeminent tax experts James
Fuller, Walter Hellerstein, and Prentiss Willson. Their combined
wisdom and experience in international and domestic taxation
provides the company with valuable insight into the challenges
facing corporate tax departments of the Fortune 1000.

Perlman was with Intel from 1978 to 2001 during which time he
held multiple positions in the corporate tax department and chaired
the company's Government Affairs Council. Prior to Intel, Robert
held positions at Memorex Corporation, Norton Simon, Inc., Touche
Ross and Company, and is currently a Director in the Washington
National Tax Service office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Perlman holds multiple degrees, is a Certified Public Accountant,
and is an active member of the tax profession. He is currently
a member of the Tax Committee of Financial Executives International
(FEI), has served as President of the Tax Executives Institute
(TEI), and has been on the board of the National Association
of Manufacturers, American Electronics Association, The Tax Council,
and the California Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on
the Program Committee of the Tax Foundation, and was a member
of the Advisory Group to the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue
Service (IRS).
The Liquid Engines Advisory Board is comprised of seasoned industry
experts in business management, finance, taxation, and economics.

Ralph Alexander is Executive Vice President of BP Group and
Member of BP Group Executive Committee, which provides leadership
to the Group in all Strategy, Policy and Planning matters. Ralph
also serves as Chief Executive of BP Gas, Power & Renewables,
Chairs the GP&R Senior Executive Team and is responsible
for delivery of BP's GP&R Strategy and Performance.
James Fuller has been a partner at Fenwick & West LLP since
1978 and is the Practice Group Leader of the firm's tax practice
group. Jim also teaches international tax at Stanford University
Law School, is a Departmental Editor of the Journal of Taxation,
and sits on numerous advisory and editorial advisory boards.
Jim was selected in surveys by International Tax Review as the
top tax advisor in the western U.S. six years in a row (1994-1999),
and appears in Euromoney's Best Tax Lawyers in the world, and
the Best Lawyers in America by Woodward White.
Walter (Wally) Hellerstein, the Francis Shackelford Professor
of Taxation at the University of Georgia Law School, is the nation's
preeminent academic authority on state and local tax law. He
co-authored both the leading treatise (State Taxation) and the
leading casebook (State and Local Taxation) in the state tax
field.
Prentiss Willson has over 35 years of experience in tax strategy
and management is noted as one of the most prominent practitioners
in his field. Prentiss spent 28 years at Morrison & Foerster
LLP where he was Managing Partner of the San Francisco office,
co-chair of the firm's Tax Department, and head of the firm's
State and Local Practice Group. He then moved to Ernst & Young
LLP where he continued his practice as a Partner and as National
Director of State and Local Tax Practice and Procedure. Mr. Willson
has recently retired from Ernst & Young as Partner but continues
to consult with the firm.
