LIQUID ENGINES APPOINTS RITA IORFIDA VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTS

Former PeopleSoft Executive Brings More Than 20 Years of Experience in
Software and Financial Systems

SUNNYVALE, CA, November 15, 2004 – Liquid Engines, the provider of breakthrough corporate income tax management and quantitative planning software, today announced that Rita Iorfida has been named Vice President, Products. Leveraging more than twenty years of software experience, Iorfida will manage product direction and strategy, product management, and product marketing. Under her leadership, Liquid Engines will continue to broaden the capabilities of their core products and will look to expand their product offering to serve the ever-increasing needs of corporate tax departments.

Ms. Iorfida has extensive experience in delivering enterprise-level software to financial customers. She was most recently vice president of product management at INEA Corporation, a performance management software provider focusing exclusively on the financial services industry. Before that she spent nine years at PeopleSoft, where she became vice president for PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions after holding various management roles in customer services, professional services, and sales. While at PeopleSoft, Ms. Iorfida successfully launched PeopleSoft 8 Financial Management Suite, the first pure Internet product suite targeted to the office of finance; and PeopleSoft 8.4 Financial Management Systems, which included functionality targeted at meeting compliance and transparency requirements as well as new products such as CFO Portal and MarketPay.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Iorfida worked for Dun & Bradstreet Software as client engagement manager. Ms. Iorfida earned an Honors BA from the University of Toronto and an MA in information science from the University of Western Ontario.
