SUNNYVALE, CA, August 9, 2004 – Liquid
Engines, the provider of breakthrough corporate income tax management
and
quantitative planning software, today announced the appointment of James Levison as vice president of finance. Levison will assume responsibility for Liquid Engines’ finance function and will also oversee administration and human resources.
"Jim is a great addition to our management team, bringing extensive experience in finance, accounting, and operations,” said Gwen Spertell, president and CEO, Liquid Engines. “He will be instrumental in helping guide the company into the next phase of growth.”

Jim Levison comes to Liquid Engines with more than 25 years of experience driving growth at software and professional services companies. Most recently, Levison was vice president of finance for Think3 Inc., an international product development solutions company, where he was responsible for all U.S. accounting and financial functions. Before joining Think3, Levison served as vice president of finance and corporate treasurer for Selectica Inc., an enterprise software company, where he managed financial operations from start up through the company's successful IPO in March 2000. Earlier in his career, he also held finance, accounting management, and consulting positions at Cornerstone Research and Ernst & Young. Levison earned a BA from Colorado College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
